The Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards – the MAIAs – celebrate the increasingly important work being done worldwide to help people understand money better, and benefit from the financial system.
Money Playschool – Your Money Guide to Adulting is a financial literacy platform that aims to make personal finance interesting and easy to understand, with a focus on bringing insights from entrepreneurs, experts and licensed professionals.

The Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards (MAIAs)
Conceived to ‘Make Money Better’, the MAIAs is focused on raising awareness of the many problems poor financial literacy causes, while also finding the best solutions from all over the world – and shining a light on them via a high-profile awards system judged by leading academics, NGOs, journalists, influencers, and asset managers.
Past winners include Cha-Ching and Professor Annamaria Lusardi. Cha-ching is a financial education programme for children which began in 2011.
The Prudence Foundation developed Cha-Ching in partnership with the Cartoon Network and Dr Alice Wilder, an Emmy award-winning children’s education specialist.
Professor Annamaria Lusardi, a University Professor of Economics and Accountancy at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB), also the founder and academic director of GWSB’s Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center, co-authored “Financial education affects financial knowledge and downstream behaviours”: a meta-analysis across 33 countries.
