Fintech startup GoalsMapper emerged as a winner at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) Global FinTech Awards organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Singapore FinTech Association. The prestigious Awards held on 11 November 2021 was among the key highlights of the SFF, which is the world’s largest FinTech event.

The Global FinTech Awards recognises ground-breaking solutions that have enabled the financial sector to rebound from the impact of the pandemic, including initiatives that have helped create new growth opportunities, transform industry practices, and promote financial inclusion. The theme for this year’s Awards was “Emerging from a pandemic, the road to recovery”.

GoalsMapper was selected as the winner in the SFF Global FinTech Awards (Singapore Founder) 2021 category by an international panel comprising industry experts across multiple domains. A total of 298 submissions were received across all award categories. Winners were evaluated based on four criteria: (i) impact; (ii) practicality; (iii) interoperability; and (iv) uniqueness and creativity.

Dato’ Wayne Chen, Co-Founder and CEO, GoalsMapper, said: “GoalsMapper is honoured to win this prestigious award. It is a testament to our impact and vision of redefining financial planning to empower everyone to make better financial decisions. This award win is also timely. Having grown sustainably and profitably with no external funding, the foundation is laid for us to look for like-minded investors and partners to accelerate our international expansion plans. We look forward to enabling more financial consultants, financial advisory firms and financial institutions to subscribe, white label or API integrate with our solutions beyond Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.”

Mr Pok Xiao Guo, Co-Founder and CTO, GoalsMapper

Mr Pok Xiao Guo, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, GoalsMapper, said: “We are proud to win in this prestigious Awards with an esteemed panel of judges consisting of some 20 senior executives and experts across multiple domains of the FinTech community. We will continue to build on our suite of SaaS solutions to supercharge the financial advisory industry. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues, users, collaboration partners and financial institutions that have supported us and made this win possible.”

Mr Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief FinTech Officer, MAS, said in a statement, “The Global FinTech Hackcelerator, FinTech Awards and inaugural Innovative E-Gifting Solution Awards seek to champion and recognise innovative, high quality solutions that transform industry practices in the financial industry and develop opportunities for growth.  It is heartening to see many impactful leading-edge digital solutions competing for this year’s Awards. In particular, the winning entries from financial institutions, FinTechs and technology providers displayed strong potential to enhance the growth and resilience of the financial sector as economies recover from the pandemic. Heartiest congratulations to all the winners!”
